What could have been more shocking than the surgical strikes? James Bond for Pan Bahar!
Never once in my life I’d ever thought that we would be witnessing the legendary British spy replace his pistol for a box of Pan Masala. Pan Bahar has pulled the rug from under all its competitors by roping in none other than former James Bond star, Pierce Brosnan to endorse their Pan Masala. For a brand whose ultimate tagline is “Pehchan Kamyabi Ki”, it could not have got quirkier than this – it’s a clever association. It is a classic double-edged sword – on one side, the sheer audacity of getting in Pierce Brosnan is incredible. On the other hand, what a disappointment!
The campaign, created by DDB Mudra, was launched on Friday across print, outdoor and television with all the trappings of a bond film – Pierce Brosnan in lead role, a fast car, incredulous stunts, beautiful women, and a weapon of mass destruction—a can of Pan Bahar.
Of course the social media has had its take on it and the result has been hilarious in the expanse of Pierce and the Brand.
