Samsung has hit the right note with its latest advert in a bid to address the world about the need for change. A change from the way the world has run its course, with war, hunger, terrorism, bloodshed, and strife. Samsung’s latest minute-41-second long television commercial titled ”the Anthem” calls upon the world to restore its faith in unity, goodness and humanity. The television commercial which was released on the brands official YouTube channel has already clocked over 20 million views.
Samsung’s advert tries to promote the concept of ‘One world, one anthem‘ through its smartphone variant Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge’s latest campaign featuring 15 countries’ anthems rolled into one, namely Botswana, Canada, France, United States of America (USA), Brazil, Malaysia, Malawi, United Kingdom (UK), New Zealand, Germany, South Korea, Tunisia, and South Africa.
In the video we see featured people, from different countries singing snippets of the anthems of other countries, sending out a strong message of unity.
Samsung mentions itself as a ‘Proud sponsor of a world without barriers’ and urges people to #DoWhatYouCant.
